Hello, and welcome to Jane Out of the Box - a community created exclusively for women entrepreneurs like you.
We believe that women business owners are changing the world. We’re forging new paths. We’re saying, “Business doesn’t have to be done the same old way.” We are proving that we can be mothers and wives and sisters AND successful in business, too. We CAN set our own schedules, maximize our flexibility, wear all of our hats, make great money, and serve our customers well. And through this enterprising, confident, determined spirit, we will be able to teach others how they too can live life on their own terms.
That's why we're passionate about bringing you a community where you can network with your peers and talk about everything that's important to you. That's why we've identified experts who answer your questions and provide tools and articles to help you learn and grow. That's why we focus not just on how to create a successful business - but also how to create that business so it serves your life.
That's also why we're asking questions -- in our weekly polls, in our discussion boards, and in research projects we are conducting not just with members but with women business owners everywhere. This research helps us deeply understand your needs so we can help you get them filled. It also helps us influence corporations and government agencies in better meeting your needs.
So, welcome to Jane Out of the Box, where you have an amazing opportunity to hone your skills, network and learn new ways to do things. The Jane Out of the Box community is about creating the lifestyle you desire, by helping to give you more time to focus on what's most important to you. In the Jane community, the possibilities are endless. Basic membership is free, so come on in and get started today.
Connect with other women entrepreneurs to ask questions, share your experiences and help each other learn and grow! (And don't forget to check out the weekly challenge boards.)

Business Spotlight
Missy Cohen-Fyffe is President of Babe Ease, LLC www.cleanshopper.com, whose corporate goal is to bring innovative, affordable and quality driven baby products to families around the world. She brought her patented Clean Shopper® shopping cart cover to the market in 1999.
Missy says she has been 'labeled passionate, innovative and demanding. All three capture my personality and explain best why I wanted to start and, more importantly, run my own business.' Before she sold her first Clean Shopper®, she could visualize her company’s success ten years down the road, and she wanted to make that vision a reality. 'Having worked for other businesses in the past, I was compelled to run a company that was different - one that provided quality products at affordable prices, empowered women and provided opportunities for philanthropic endeavors, ' Missy says. Babe Ease is recognized across the country and as far away as Australia and New Zealand, for providing quality, originality and service, and for its philanthropic nature.
Over the years, Missy has had a number of rewarding experiences, from seeing her first packaged Clean Shoppers® on a store shelf and winning innovative product awards, to heading the ESSCO-MGH Breast Cancer Research Fund and mentoring other women in their start-up ventures. However, the greatest business reward she has experienced is 'the feeling of accomplishment I get day in and day out seeing my staff working as a team, helping our customers and taking pride in our company. We consistently strive to improve our products and our business practices and we never lose sight of our goals.'
