Kelly Galea – The Design Biz Coach — is a design industry expert and business strategist helping interior designers, decorators and home stagers grow their business and become more profitable. She has over 18 years experience in project management, business and technology integration, business development and marketing. As former owner of one of Central Florida’s top design firms, Kelly understands interior designers and the issues and challenges they face in business. She founded Trinity Creative Partners LLC to: 1) help interior designers & decorators build and grow their businesses 2) connect homeowners with interior designers, design ideas and solutions.

Kelly started her own business for three distinct reasons 1) it affords her freedom and the ability to create her vision for the future; 2) it allows her to best be of service; and 3) helps others shine by providing opportunities that allow them to focus on and express their unique talents. “Each day is what I make of it,” said Kelly. “I love the freedom of running my own business and being my own boss.

After taking the free Which Jane Are You? assessment at www.JaneOutoftheBox.com, Kelly discovered that she is a Jane Dough. “My current business is about a year old and I have big plans for it,” asserts Kelly in typical Jane Dough style. “I want to create something that is bigger than me, that will help others achieve the success they desire and continue to give back far into the future. I’ve always been a big-picture person and have finally merged that with my process and systems strengths. I’m having such fun! My challenge is in making more time for family and friends. Fortunately, the more I make it a priority, the easier it gets.”

Kelly initially contacted Jane Out of the Box as a Tenacity Jane. “While I was born a Jane Dough, I’ve been two others Janes as well in the not-so-distant past. As a kid, I was always making and selling something, raising money for a variety of causes, organizing and ‘employing’ friends in various endeavors (lemonade stands, cleaning services, car detailing, babysitting, craft sales). Jane Dough was lost along the way as I followed the expected path – do well in school, go to college, get a good job, and work hard to make your way up the ladder. That’s when I became Go Jane Go, operating at that level for 15 years before facing burnout and hearing the call of Jane Dough. Old habits are hard to break, so I was a Go Jane Go with my first full-time business venture after leaving the corporate world. I experienced success but at a high cost physically, emotionally, and financially because I inadvertently created a job for myself while taking on the responsibilities of a business owner. When my business partner announced her retirement, I was relieved and decided to pursue my passion and focus on the niche I had personally been serving. Enter Tenacity Jane! As sole owner of a new company, I was committed to doing whatever it takes to realize my vision. The past year was spent learning new skills, investing in myself and in my business, trying to do too much and all at once! I have a new coach and mastermind group, which has allowed me to become clear on where I’m heading and how I’ll get there. My father recently commented that I am a true entrepreneur at heart and should have had my own business a long time ago. I almost fell over! It’s something I’ve felt forever but hadn’t given myself over to completely until the last few months.”
